Turn in a Pizza Ranch Tip Night coupon and the Johnston Lions Club will receive $2 per adult buffet to aid homeless veterans.
Your donations this evening will go towards the Central Iowa Shelter for Veterans. Homeless vets are accommodated at this location with 19 rooms where they can stay from one night up to two years, if they meet shelter qualifications. However, average stay is only a few months so turnover is significant. The Lions Club would like to help make baskets for the Veterans that have essential needs to set up and take care of their new room.
