The annual Sports Program Ads project had a solid gain this year, splitting the proceeds with the Johnston Schools Booster Club, to the tune of $4,250. We presented the check at our June 8 dinner meeting to Booster Club Treasurer Deb Miller. This is the last year of project leadership for Bill Salthun; and retiring local printer Rich Holst–and we give them a big thanks for their years of service to this project. And of course, we couldn’t do it without all the local businesses who buy ads for the 5,000 programs distributed at the High School football and basketball games!
